NLS girls have early battle with Albany

The unbeaten New London-Spicer girls basketball team will play at West Central North Conference rival Albany tonight.

In the past four years that the two teams have been in the West Central North Conference together (NLS was in the South half in 2004-05), Albany has not lost a game and is currently riding a 44-game win streak during that time.

NLS (3-0, 5-0) is currently rated No. 3 in Class. AA. Albany (2-0, 2-1) is unranked.

The game is slated for 7:30 p.m.
