Nordic Skiing: Erickson, LaPatka lead Willmar in finale

LITTLE FALLS -- Danielle Erickson and Tom LaPatka led the Willmar Cardinal teams at the Section 2 Nordic ski meet held at Camp Ripley on Thursday.

LaPatka, who was 26th, skied the classic leg in 19 minutes and skate leg in 17:03 for a 36:03 total. Erickson took 38th in the girls division with a total pursuit time of 44:57 on a 24:06 classic and a 20:51: skate.

Dan Voss took 40th and Matt Weitzel 50th in boys. Anna Burns in 48th and Kalina Laren 58th followed teammate Erickson to the finish in the girls cross-country race.

The meet concluded the season for the Cardinals.
