WILLMAR -- Norma Veen Greenway, 89, of Willmar died Tuesday at Rice Memorial Hospital.
The service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Harvey Anderson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Cloverleaf Cemetery.
Visitation will be for one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
She was born April 20, 1919, in Wells County, North Dakota to Gust and Selma (Gedrose) Veen. She grew up in Wells County where she attended a one-room county school. She moved with her sister to Washington D.C. and worked in a restaurant for 10 years. They moved to Las Vegas in 1952.
She married Cecil Greenway in 1955. They owned and operated a restaurant in a drug store for 20 years. She was a drummer in the Daughter's of the Nile. She moved to Willmar in 2004. She has lived at Sunrise Village for the past two years.
She is survived by her siblings: Harland (and Lorraine) Veen of Le Sueur, Eleanor Frazer of Post Falls, Idaho, Evelyn Nelson of Willmar and Shirley Short of Sauk Centre.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1974, two brothers and three sisters.
