Northwoods Baseball: Bucks top Stingers
WATERLOO, Iowa -- The Willmar Stingers continued their early struggles with a 6-3 loss to the Waterloo Bucks on Friday.
The Stingers are now 0-3 in the Northwoods League North Division. They play Waterloo today at 6:35 p.m.
Willmar put two quick runs on the board in the first inning on an RBI-single by Michael Suchy to score Steven Brault and an error a batter later to score Suchy.
Jon Flinn, in his first game for the Stingers, cruised through the first three innings but things fell apart in the fourth.

Biggs threw a wild pitch to Peter Leonello allowing Sean Borman to score, and two more came in on an error to second baseman Kenny Roberts.
Waterloo added one more in the sixth.
The Stingers rallied with two outs in the ninth on singles by Greg Fettes, Logan Allen and Mitch Rowan for one more run, but came up short when Steven Brault grounded out to first to end the game.
Flinn got the loss and Waterloo's Jordan Foley picked up the win, allowing two runs in five innings.
