Northwoods Baseball: Social media fans to determine events at Stingers game
It's "Social Media Night" at Bill Taunton Stadium on Friday when the Willmar Stingers play host to the Mankato MoonDogs.
Fans will have the opportunity to create their own night at the ballpark by voting on the Stingers Facebook page. The voting ends on Thursday midnight. Below is a list of the options for the fans to determine for Friday night's game. To vote, visit the Willmar Stingers Facebook Page and become a fan: 1. What uniforms should the team wear - Yellow Jerseys or White Jerseys?; 2. What hats should the team wear - All Black with Stingers "S" or Black with yellow bill?; 3. What "Dance" should Barry perform - Titanic Dance or Hip Hop Dance?; 4. Who will throw out the ceremonial first pitch - Barry or Brock the Ticket Taker?; 5. What uniform should Barry wear - Superman or Leprechaun or black and yellow swim trunks?; 6. What promotion should we do at the end of the 7th inning - Bat Spin or Rhythmic Gymnastics or Concessions Dance off?; 7. What song should be played during the middle of the 1st inning - "Boys are Back in Town" by Thin Lizzy or "StarShips" by Nicki Minaj?
