'Noteables' outdoor jazz concert is Monday in Willmar, Minn.

WILLMAR -- The Heartland of America Band's "The Noteables" jazz ensemble will present a concert at 7 p.m. Monday at Rice Park in Willmar.

The concert is free, bring your own chair or blanket to sit on. In case of bad weather, the concert will be at WEAC in Willmar.

This "sleek, vibrant jazz ensemble presents exciting, uplifting music that continues to inspire patriotism" in audiences across the nation.

Master Sgt. Steve Fitts is the noncommissioned officer-in-charge and performs on trombone. Technical Sgt. Krista Joyce is the featured vocalist.

From formal performances in grand auditoriums to casual concerts in the park, "The Noteables" jazz ensemble is said to be in constant demand.

The level of talent showcased by each member of "The Noteables" enables the group to perform with "unparalleled excitement and versatility." With their extensive repertoire of specially tailored standards, energetic contemporary favorites and Big Band classics highlighted by instrumental and vocal soloists, the group is expected to please audiences of any age.
