As part of a plea agr-eement for drug cases in both Ka-ndiyohi Co-unty and Renville Co-unty district courts, Za-vala also pleaded guilty to a third-degree drug sale count and a charge of being a felon in possession of a firearm in Renville County.

The plea agreement notes that he will receive a sentence of 67 months in prison. Zavala will be sentenced June 13 in Kandiyohi County District Court.

The charges were filed after Zavala sold 65 Adderall pills, which contain amphetamine and are a Schedule II narcotic, to the informant on Oct. 20 and sold 217 hydrocodone pills, which are a Schedule III narcotic, to the same informant on seven occasions between Oct. 27 and Nov. 10.
