GRANITE FALLS -- A Granite Falls couple escaped injury when a Ford Explorer crashed into their home around 7 a.m. Friday on Prentice Street along the Minnesota River.

The driver of the vehicle, Bradley Raddatz, 45, of Wood Lake, was transported to Granite Falls Hospital for non-life threatening injuries. He was badly bruised and cut.

A medical condition caused Raddatz to black out behind the wheel and drive into the home, according to Granite Falls Police Chief Russ Blue.
