One to hospital after crash

WILLMAR -- A Willmar man was taken by ambulance to Rice Memorial Hospital after a two-vehicle crash around 10:40 p.m. Monday at the intersection of Willmar Avenue and Fifth Street Southwest.

Shukri Jama, 24, was a passenger in a 1993 Lexus driven by Bishar Bare, 36, of Willmar, that was struck by a 2001 Ford F150 driven by Jonathan Noethlich, 19, of Doland, S.D. According to the crash report, Noethlich failed to stop at the four-way stop and struck the passenger side of the Bare vehicle. Bare sustained minor injuries, but was not transported for treatment.
