One injured in Monday night fire that destroyed a rural Spicer, Minn., home
SPICER - One man was seriously injured last night in a fire that destroyed a rural Spicer home. Two other occupants escaped by jumping out of a second story window.
The fire was reported at 9:30 p.m. at 4317 133 Ave. NE, on the west side of Nest Lake.
Fueled by strong southerly winds that gusted to 25-30 mph, the house was engulfed in flames by the time crews arrived, according to Spicer Fire Chief Mike Holme.
"The whole house is a loss," he said.
