PENNOCK - Multiple individuals were injured this morning in a semi-truck and car collision near the intersection of U.S. Highway 12 and 75th Street Northwest, about 1 mile east of Pennock.

Multiple law enforcement and emergency response personnel responded about 11:10 a.m. Thursday to the semi-truck and car collision, which resulted in both vehicles catching fire, according to Kandiyohi County Dispatch.

There was one driver in the semi and three individuals riding in the car.

A Life Link helicopter transported one of the car passengers to St. Cloud.

Train traffic on the near Burlington-Northern Santa Fe track was slowed down for a period of time.

Highway 12 was closed east of Pennock for a period of time and traffic was detoured.
