The bride is the daughter of Ken and Karla Overweg of Platte. The groom is the son of Craig and Donna Groen of Prinsburg.
Attendants were Hilairee Griese, Lexy Overweg, Evan Wiersma, Emily Griese, Kendra Groen, April BaanHofman, Jeremiah Slagter, Eric Vande Griend, Dan Buys and Trevor Overweg.
The couple lives in Sioux Center, Iowa, where the bride is a student at Dordt College, studying elementary special education. The groom is employed as lead instructor by Hope Haven.
