Parade rest

A semi-tractor transporting a turbine tower base at Grove City got hung up at the intersection of U.S. Highway 12 and State Highway 4 South at mid-afternoon Sunday. Traffic was backed up in three directions and an east-bound BNSF train had to slow to a stop short of the crossing. When the turn finally was negotiated successfully, the truck and escort vehicles were quickly on their way headed south. Towers are often unloaded at the Twin Ports in Duluth/Superior upon arrival from Europe for shipment around the country. The Minnesota Highway Patrol was at the scene.
