Paul Stockland Dec. 11, 1958 - Aug. 24, 2009

HOPKINS -- Paul William Stockland, 50, of Hopkins, formerly of Pennock, died Monday at his home.

The service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Mamrelund Lutheran Church in Pennock. Burial will be in Mamrelund Lutheran Cemetery in Pennock.

Arrangements are with Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar.

He was born Dec. 11, 1958, in Willmar to Eli and Ruth (Peterson) Stockland. He grew up in Pennock where he attended elementary school and graduated from Willmar High School in 1977. He worked for Pennock Oil for a number of years. He moved to Hopkins and worked for Honeywell International as an overseas shipping clerk for more than 24 years. He was active in youth baseball in Pennock and was in a golf league and volunteered for area food drives at the time of his death.

He is survived by his siblings: Ken (and Nancy) Stockland of Sunburg, Diane (and Dale) Engleson of Danvers, Al Stockland (and Barb Boike) of Willmar and his friend and kidney donor Mona (and Bill) Rod of Blaine.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
