Paynesville, Minn., man killed in semi crash

MENOMONIE, WIS. -- The driver of a semi-truck who died in a rear-end collision with another truck late Tuesday has been identified Brian Lee Paglusch, 43, of Paynesville.

Paglusch died after the Viessman Trucking Co.-owned tractor-trailer rig he was operating struck the rear of another unit being driven by Destry Donn Wilson, 22, of California.

A fire occurred after the crash but Wisconsin State Patrol didn't offer details on the extent of damage.

The collision occurred in the westbound lanes of Interstate 94, about 1.5 miles east of the Highway 25 off-ramp. Westbound traffic was rerouted until just after 5 a.m.

The crash remains under investigation by the Wisconsin State Patrol.

Responding to the scene were the Dunn County Sheriff's Department, Menomonie police and fire, the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and the Dunn County Highway Department.
