Agnes "Aggie" Hanrahan inspects her Litchfield Avenue home for damage Tuesday after winds toppled a tree in her front yard. While some branches were dangerously close to her windows, there was no apparent damage to the home. The National Weather Service reported wind gusts of 40 mph in the early afternoon when the tree fell. The winds aren't likely to die down anytime soon; forecasters predict strong gusts today, mixed with a few showers and thunderstorms. Tribune photo by Gary Miller
