Phillip 'Jack' Collins Aug. 10, 1936 - July 26, 2009
WILLMAR -- Phillip John "Jack" Collins, 72, of Willmar, died July 26 at Bethesda Heritage Center in Willmar.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Bridgets Catholic Cemetery in DeGraff.
Arrangements are with Zniewski Funeral Home in Benson. Memorials are preferred to Jack Collins Memorial, P.O. Box 375, Clontarf, MN 56226.
He was born Aug. 10, 1936, in Clontarf to Phil and Teresa (Kramer) Collins. He grew up in Clontarf and attended school there.
He married Louise Westphal on Nov. 28, 1958, in Clontarf. They later divorced. He was a master carpenter, cabinet maker and wood worker and had a U.S. patent for an innovative drill bit.
He is survived by his children: Lonny Evenson of Stafford, Va., Kevin Evenson of East Bethel and Troy Evenson of Minneapolis; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by six siblings.
