Phone service, 911 to Yellow Medicine County Sheriff's office is down

GRANITE FALLS -- As of 10:30 a.m. Monday, phone service and 911 lines to the Yellow Medicine County Sheriff's office, and most of Granite Falls, were not operational.

According to the county dispatch center, 911 calls are being rolled over the Lyon County Sheriff's office and citizens will be notified when phone services are restored.

Residents of the city of Granite Falls, with a 564 phone prefix, will need to call 320-564-2130 for any administration or emergency needs.
