It was all about pi and pie Monday for students at Willmar Middle School as they celebrated the mathematical concept with a variety of competitions that included a cherry pie eating contest. Arianna Haverly, an eighth-grader, pictured, won the contest. In an ironic twist, Mary Hanson, the school's health teacher, was the only faculty member who participated in the contest.
