Police Report
The Bemidji Police Department responded to the following calls:
Property damage
8:54 p.m. Monday, 3300 block of Cedar Lane Northwest. Juveniles were reportedly placing fireworks in mailboxes. Officers spoke with residents but were unable to locate the juveniles.
Harassment
3:54 p.m. Monday, 2500 block of Ridgeway Avenue Northwest. Bullying was reported.
3:39 p.m. Monday, 500 block of Pershing Avenue Southeast. Harassing text messages were reported.
10:16 a.m. Monday, 300 block of Beltrami Avenue Northwest. Harassing phone calls and obscene messages were reported.
Thefts
1:15 p.m. Monday, 300 block of Central Avenue Southeast. A motor vehicle license plate was stolen.
10:42 a.m. Monday, 600 block of 11th Street Northwest. Bike theft.
Fraud
11:43 a.m. Monday, 400 block of Paul Bunyan Drive Northwest. Theft of prescription medication.
Accident
4:20 a.m. Monday, U.S. highways 2 and 71. An accident occurred.

The Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following calls:
Thefts
12:13 p.m. Monday, Country Club Road Northeast. Unauthorized use of a debit card was reported.
9:14 a.m. Monday, Birchmont Beach Road Northeast. A Nintendo DS was stolen from a garage sale. A 33-year-old woman was cited for misdemeanor theft after she attempted to sell it via Facebook.
Animal
7:32 a.m. Monday, Lakewood Drive Northwest. A dog was treated at Animal Care Clinic after being injured by a gunshot.
