Police: Sex offender moving to Willmar, Minn.

WILLMAR — The Willmar Police Department is giving notification to the community that a person classified as a Level III sex offender has moved into the community.
Jerry Everett Pahl, 41, is living in the vicinity of Fourth Street and Becker Avenue Southeast in Willmar. He was convicted of criminal sexual conduct for contact with a 14-year-old female victim who was known to him. He has completed his term in prison and supervised release period.
At this time, Pahl is not wanted by police and has served his sentence imposed by the court.
The notification is intended to inform the public and the information is released according to state statute.
Offenders are assessed by the state at the time of their release from confinement. Level III offenders are those deemed at highest risk of reoffending.
