Before a grandstand crowd approaching 1,000, Mark Helgeson of rural Sauk Rapids pulled a sled on a full 300-foot run to win the 8,500 class. His Havoc "tractor" is powered by a V12 Allison, 1,710 cubic-inch fighter-plane engine developing 2,300 hp.
