BIRD ISLAND -- Jake Boersma allowed two unearned runs on four hits in seven innings to lift BOLD to a 4-2 win over Renville County West in non-conference baseball action Thursday.

The Warriors (13-5) scored twice in the first inning on Sam Steffel's sacrifice fly and Boersma's single.

Boersma drove in the eventual winning run in the fourth with a double.

The Jaguars (10-5) cut the lead in half on Nate Wensauer's solo home run in the seventh.

Boersma, Alex Gay and Tyler Hebrink had two hits each for BOLD.

Dylan Reese led the Owls offense with two hits, one a double, and two RBI.

Zach Walstad also hit a triple for Hancock.

New London-Spicer went in front 3-2 in the fifth on an RBI single by Kevin Soine.

The Wildcats added five insurance runs in the sixth. Caleb Friedrich's two-run double was followed by Shawn Hatlestad's RBI single and then a two-run triple by Kevin Soine.

Hatlestad threw a five-hitter with three walks and four walks for the win.

Kevin Soine drove in five runs with a double and a single for an eight RBI day.

Eleven players had at least one hit for New London-Spicer (8-6, 10-8) which piled up 16 hits. Caleb Friedrich doubled and tripled and winning pitcher Jack Schwaegerl was 2-for-2 with two RBI.

Schwaegerl finished with a three hitter.

Alex Hass had two of the hits for Milaca (1-14, 2-17)
