Prep Baseball: RCW sinks Dawson-Boyd
RENVILLE -- Adam Loe tossed a five-inning, two-hitter and Renville County West routed Dawson-Boyd 10-0 in a Camden Conference game on Thursday.
RCW parlayed seven hits, six walks and three Dawson-Boyd errors into its 10 runs.
In the fourth inning, RCW's Brian Feldman started a rally of five consecutive singles that developed into six runs for the Jaguars (2-0, 2-0).
Trent Novotny led RCW in hitting, going 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI.
Loe walked only one and struck out eight.
Dawson-Boyd's Donald Hermanson, Keith Knutson and Christian Olson had the hits off Loe.
Dawson-Boyd's Derek Gritmacker took the loss, pitching three innings and giving up three earned runs on two hits and four walks.
