Prep baseball: Warriors rough up Willmar with 13-run frame


BRAINERD — Brainerd pushed across all 13 runs in the second inning to bury Willmar 13-2 on Tuesday in a Central Lakes Conference game.

Adam Nibaur took the loss. Tony McCleary had an RBI for Willmar.

T.J. Graumann, the winning pitcher, smacked a three-run triple in the Warriors’ big inning. Brainerd (2-0, 4-0) is averaging 14 runs per game.

Willmar (0-2, 0-4) will play host to St. Cloud Tech on Thursday, a doubleheader.
