SPICER -- Logan Brink scored the go-ahead run in the bottom of the sixth inning and pitcher Tanner Thunstedt made it hold up in New London-Spicer's 3-2 win over Montevideo on Monday at Green Lake Diamond.

Both teams managed just three hits in the tight pitchers' duel.

In the sixth, with the game tied 2-2, NLS got Brink to third on two walks and a Thunder Hawks' error, and he scored on Aaron Ruter's fielder's choice ground out.
