Prep Football: 3rd-quarter surge propels Paynesville past Tigers

MORRIS — After a slow start, the Paynesville aerial attack heated up and Morris/Chokio-Alberta couldn’t keep pace.

Bulldogs’ quarterback Matthew Quade hooked up with receiver Nick Dingmann for four touchdowns to rally Paynesville from two first-half deficits and to a 38-14 West Central Conference win on Friday at Big Cat Stadium in Morris.

The Bulldogs improved to 2-0 while the Tigers fell to 0-2.
