Prep football: Elks run for 514 yards to oust Rogers

Four days after trampling No. 4 seed Willmar 51-28 in Section 6-5A, No. 5 Elk River (5-5) buried top seed Rogers 53-42 on Saturday.

Junior Denis Bardashevskiy raced for 370 yards and 5 TDs, including dashes of 81 and 90 yards. The Elks will meet St. Michael-Albertville (7-2) for the title.
