MAYNARD — Wolverines’ senior safety Dean Schroeder made a game-saving tackle preserving a 22-20 victory over Murray County Central on MACCRAY’s homecoming.

With 50 second left, the Rebels had pulled within two points with their second consecutive touchdown after trailing 20-8.

Rebels QB Seth Bass, who had just thrown a short TD pass to bring his team within two points of the lead, kept the ball and seemed headed into the end zone when Schroeder drove the senior backwards.
