Dalton Clouse ran for 155 yards and two touchdowns and Jake Stuedemann plowed for 85 yards and three scores, including two in the fourth quarter that salted away the win.

The Wildcats fell to 3-1 overall, and they play next Dassel-Cokato on Friday at home.

GSL and NLS traded touchdowns, the Wildcats’ coming on Adam Essler’s 26-yard scoring run in the second quarter.

But the Panthers’ Clouse ran for second-quarter TD that was the first of three straight scores that put them up 28-7.

The Wildcats rallied briefly, with Ben Beuning running for a score and Shane Zylstra catching a 13-yard scoring pass from Ryan Vraa to pull within nine points.

But Panthers answered with Stuedemann rolling in from 5 yards out to all but put the game away.

NLS’ Adam Essler carried 24 times for 148 yards and 2 touchdowns and he also intercepted a second-quarter pass.

Shane Zylstra caught 4 pass for 48 yards and the TD.

Wildcats’ linebacker Jared Vossen made 11 total tackles and Beuning was in on 10 stops.
