NEW LONDON — You could say Adam Essler had a break-out game on Friday if the New London-Spicer senior back wasn’t doing similar things every week.

Essler ran for 250 yards and scored 5 touchdowns in the Wildcats’ 50-7 Wright County Conference win over Holy Family Catholic on Friday.

Essler scored on runs of 72, 38, 63, 46 and 3 yards as the Wildcats improved to 4-1 in the WCC and 6-1 overall.
