Prep Football: Wildcats host state champs at scrimmage

Rocori began its 2011 season with a full-contact scrimmage in New London.

The Spartans ended it with a 17-14 win over Bemidji in in the 4A Prep Bowl championship game.

Rocori returns on Saturday to New London-Spicer for a 9 a.m. scrimmage but the new 2012 model will be without quarterback Nate Meyer, top receiver Sean Terres and leading rusher Sam Moriarty, all of whom graduated after a 12-1 season.
