Prep football: Wildcats upend Albany


NEW LONDON -- Austin Stone ran for 157 yards and two touchdowns to spark New London-Spicer past old West Central Conference rival Albany 20-7 Wednesday in the regular-season finale.

The win snapped the Wildcats' four-game losing streak and gave NLS a home game against No. 7 Montevideo for next week's Section 6AAA playoffs. The Wildcats are the No. 3 seed and will host No. 6 Sauk Centre.
