Prep Girls Tennis: Lakers defeat Perham

GLENWOOD -- A sweep in singles propelled Minnewaska to a 5-2 non-conference win over Perham Tuesday.

Ellen Stensrud at No. 1, Rachel Riley at No. 2, Jada Hoffman at No. 3 and Hannah Freske at No. 4 all won in straight sets to give the Lakers four points at singles.

The Lakers (5-12) also had MaKenna Hanson and Sarah Freske pair to win 5-7, 6-4, 6-3 at 1-doubles.
