Prep gymnastics: NLS wins final, section is next at Willmar

SPICER — The New London-Spicer gymnastics team polished off Glencoe-Silver Lake by a score of 128.5 to 110.55 on Friday at Decision Hills to complete the schedule.
Next Saturday, the Wildcat tumblers take to the Kennedy Elementary gymnasium in Willmar for the Section 6A individual and team championships. The meet will feature Melrose, the No. 1 team in Class A and the 2012 state champion.
Mya Rohman won floor (8.75) and took third all-around.
Rachael Terwisscha scored a personal-best 9.1 to win vault and also had a PB in floor 8.575.
Haley Stahl hit her beam routine for an 8.65, her best this season. She is coming back from a broken hand suffered early in the season.
