Prep Nordic Skiing: Willmar boys run 4th at Riverside Park

ST. CLOUD — Brothers Nate and Jack Erickson finished 15th and 16th and the Willmar boys Nordic team placed fourth of seven teams at the St. John’s Prep Invite held at Riverside Park on Thursday.
Nate, a senior, posted a time of 15:57 for the 6k freestyle with Jack, a freshman, just four second back. Ryan Haines was next for Willmar in 17th place in 16:19.
The Cardinal girls placed fifth. Samantha Hanson led with a time of 19:52 for 19th place. Erika Aaker, Ashlyn Boehme, Madison Thomas and Kassandra Erickson followed.
The Cardinals now train for the Central Lakes Conference meet at Fergus Falls on Jan. 31.
