EDEN VALLEY -- Anna Johnson's two-run single highlighted a five-run first inning for Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa and the Jaguars went on to defeat Eden Valley-Watkins 11-3 in a Central Minnesota softball game on Tuesday.

Johnson went 2-for-3 with a double and three RBI for the Jaguars. Amy Bast and Michelle Sanders had two RBI each for BBE.

Sanders gave up two hits and two unearned runs over the four innings for the win. Johnson gave up two hits and one run over the final three frames.
