Prep softball: Dunn, Haglund blank MACCRAY


MURDOCK -- The Fighting Saints pitching was dominant on the Murdock field on Thursday.

Visiting MACCRAY left town without scoring a run over 14 innings.

The Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg twin-barrel slingshots of Sam Dunn and Erin Haglund allowed just four hits as the Saints took wins of 6-0 and 2-0.

Dunn threw a three-hitter in Game One and Haglund one-hit the Wolverines in Game Two.

Ellen Johnson singled and doubled in the opener; Erica Bonnema doubled off Dunn.
