Prep softball: KMS takes two from Vikings

MURDOCK — The Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg softball team won its Camden Conference openers, taking two from Minneota-Canby on Monday.

The Saints, now 3-0 overall, scored 10 runs in the final three innings to win Game One 15-6, and Sam Gjerde struck out nine in five innings in a 7-1 victory on Game Two.
