MONTEVIDEO -- Kayln Oberg, the Minnewaska leadoff batter, had three hits and scored four times as the Lakers bombed Montevideo 13-3 on Monday in non-conference softball.

The Lakers' 13-hit attack also included multi-hit games by Kaylee Jacobs, Courtney Schmidt and winning pitcher Mady Phillips.

Waska plated six runs in the top of the fourth to break up a 2-2 game. The Hawks fueled the carnage with fielding errors and bad throws.

Paige Jorgenson had two of the Hawks' six hits.

Phillips went the first five innings and then Jacobs finished up with two innings of flawless relief.
