Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City tied the game 5-5 with a five-run fourth inning.

Amundson cranked a bases-loaded double off the glove of centerfielder Paige Wilner fully stretched out trying for the catch after a long run. The bases-clearing hit made it 8-5.

The Falcons capitalized on an error and a dropped third strike and then Hanna Lang's two-run single in the fourth.

Losing pitcher Sydney Larson had the only other hit off Van Batavia, who walked two and fanned six.
