BOLD Invite

The BOLD softball team won one of three games Saturday, knocking off Murray County Central but falling to New Ulm Cathedral and DeLaSalle.

The Warriors’ Peyton Weis doubled twice and drove in five runs in their 12-4 win over MCC.

The Warriors were shut out by NUC (9-0) and DeLaSalle (11-0).

Lauren Kopel got the win against MCC and also drove in a run and scored twice.

Watertown-Mayer Tournament

Litchfield fell 5-4 to Providence Academy and lost to the host school 11-1 in five innings.

Kristen Jones had two hits in the Providence Academy game and Kristen Weseman, Bryanna St. Pierre and Hallie Euerle all had two hits on the afternoon.

The Dragons play host to Annandale on Tuesday.

Morris/Chokio-Alberta didn’t need to generate much offense, thanks to eight Minneota walks in a non-conference game Friday.

Nicole Strobel, Brianna Abril and Megan Gillespie had the Tigers’ hits and Lacee Mahnum picked up the win in relief.

The Tigers are 2-1 overall and play at Benson/Hancock Tuesday.
