The second-seeded Falcons (10-5) were trailing 3-1 after 4½ innings before erupted for six runs in the bottom half of the fifth. Ten Falcons visited the plate in the frame and Jacey Nelson recorded the only RBI hit. Kelsey Kramer scored on a groundout, Sydney Larson came home on a sacrifice fly and the other three runs in the inning scored on errors.

Larson also picked up the win in the pitcher’s circle, striking out nine to offset issuing nine walks in a complete-game performance, and was one of four Falcons to collect two hits at the plate.

Hannah Wilner and Nelson singled twice while Larson doubled and tripled, and Natasha Dallmann supplied a double and single. Katie Moore drove in two runs.
