MINNEOTA — KMS punished Canby/Minneota pitching in game one and Erin Haglund pitched one-hitter and struck out 12 in game two as the Saints swept a Camden Conference doubleheader on Friday.

Haglund was 3-for-4 with two doubles and two runs batted in to led KMS to a 15-1 victory, then she shut down the Vikings 7-0 in the second game.

Courtney Olson and Sam Dunn both had two hits and two RBIs in the first game. Dunn earn the win, allowing just an earned run on four hits while striking out four.

Olson again had two hits in game two and drove in a pair, and Michelle Severson drove in a run and Sadie Sulier had two hits to support Haglund.

The Saints are 8-0 overall and play a conference doubleheader at Renville County West at 4:30 p.m. Monday.

Lac qui Parle Valley swept a pair of games from Renville County West on Friday in Madison.

The Eagles improved to 3-3 overall with 8-2 and 15-9 victories over the Jaguars.

Mackenzie Clark tripled twice and scored two runs and Mikayla DuFrane and Morgan Thole both had two hits for the Eagles. DuFrane worked all five innings for the win.

In game two, the Eagles scored 14 runs in the first three innings to take command.

DuFrane homered, tripled, drove in three runs and scored three times, Tara Laechelt was 3-for-4 with a triple, double and three runs, and Clark was 3-for-3 with a double, an RBI and she score twice.

RCW’s Lexi Freiborg had three hits and drove in a run and Grace Robertson, Brittany Harazin and Cassidy Fransen all had two hits for the Jaguars.

Paige Jorgenson hit a walk-off single down the right-field line with two outs in the sixth inning to lift Montevideo over Sauk Centre.

Trailing by three, Montevideo led off the sixth with a single by Hannah Kuno. After back-to-back strikeouts, Mikaela Erickson and Jessica Janisch both singled. Kuno and Erickson scored on an error by the left fielder, and Jorgenson followed with the game-winner to score Janisch.

Montevideo is 5-1 overall and plays at Melrose on Monday.
