MORRIS — Lauren Reimers hit a three-run inside-the-park home run in the first inning to set the tone for the Tigers’ 15-5 West Central Conference victory over Minnewaska on Thursday in Morris.

The Tigers blitzed Lakers pitching, banging out 17 hits and putting up a 10-spot in the fourth inning.

Nicole Strobel was 3-for-4 with three runs batted in and Becca Holland was 3-for-3 and scored three runs.

Reimers had two hits and four RBIs.

Brooke Gillespie earned the win, working all five innings.

The Tigers play Melrose at 4:30 p.m. today in Morris.

The Falcons took advantage of three Sting errors in the top of the seventh to break a 3-3 tie and give ACGC a win.

Payton Wilner was 4-for-4 with three RBIs, and Rylie Wilner had a hit and three runs scored.

Katie Peterson went the distance for ACGC, striking out two.
