The Bulldogs (8-3, 11-3) pushed across three runs in the first inning. Jessica Klein and Kayla Lieser had RBI hits in the frame.

The Lakers then scored four in the second to take the lead for good, 4-3, sparked by Laura Paulson's three-run double.

It went to 8-3 after Minnewaska got three runs on wild pitches and another on an RBI hit by Hailey Blair.

Klein's three-run homer made it 8-6 after five, but the Lakers added an insurance run in the sixth.
