The Dutchmen were without a league after the West Central North voted to disband after the 2011-12 school year.

With a seventh class (6A) added to the state football playoffs in 2012, the semifinals will be over three days instead of two -- four games Thursday and five each Friday and Saturday. No games will start before 9 a.m.

At state tennis, seedings will be used for the top four individuals in both classes. Only Class AA teams will be seeded.
