PAYNESVILLE — ACGC won Game 1 against Paynesville on Thursday but couldn’t sustain the momentum and the Bulldogs prevailed in four games in a West Central Conference match.

Paynesville won 16-25, 25-22, 25-14 and 25-13.

The Falcons’ tough season continues, as they fell to 0-15 overall.

The Bulldogs controlled the net, with Lexi Skoglund leading the way with 11 kills and just one hitting error.

Ella Johnson and Ashley Froelich both had 10 kills, and McKayla Quade had 3 kills and 5 ace blocks.

Skoglund also had 3 ace serves and 23 digs, while Sam Dahl dug up 33 shots.
