MONTEVIDEO — Nicole Brouwer surpassed 1,000 sets for the season and Lexi Scott had 20 kills as Central Minnesota Christian School swept Lakeview in the Section 3A-North quarterfinals on Friday.

The Bluejays won 25-13, 25-15 and 25-23.

CMCS hadn’t played in 11 days but didn’t take much time to shed any rust.

“I expected that we’d start slow,” said CMCS head coach Terrin DeBoer. “But once we got going we were OK.”
