ARDEN HILLS — Down a couple of starters, Willmar fell 25-14, 25-14, 25-21 to a veteran Mounds View squad Monday in a non-conference match.

The Cardinals (11-12) couldn’t find any rhythm and had only Dani Rosen with 10 reach double figures in kills. Leah Ruter added another 7 digs.

Allie Roehl led the team with 11 digs, while Rosen had a team-high 2 ace blocks and Ashlie Skonard had the team’s only ace serve.

It was the 9th win in their last 10 matches for the Mustangs.

Willmar will look to snap its three-match losing streak on Thursday when it plays at Brainerd for a Central Lakes Conference match.
